🤖 AI Estimates
How accurate are the numbers?
They are estimates. MunchLog sends your meal description to OpenAI and gets back a best guess for calories, protein, carbs and fat. Portion sizes you mention ("a large bowl", "200 g") make a big difference. You can edit any value before saving, and your edits always win.
I ran out of free AI estimates
The free plan includes 10 AI estimates per month, and the count resets at the start of each month. You can keep logging meals with Enter manually on the Log Meal screen, which never uses an estimate. MunchLog Pro removes the limit.
Can I turn off sending data to OpenAI?
Yes. Profile has a switch to withdraw AI consent. Manual logging, water, weight and history keep working without it. See the privacy policy for exactly what is sent.

Restore a purchase
Sign in with the same MunchLog account, open the upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, so use the same one you bought it with.
Cancel or change your plan
iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → MunchLog. Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MunchLog.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and only they can issue refunds. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
❤️ Apple Health
MunchLog can read your steps and active energy and write the meals you log. Turn it on from Profile. To change permissions later, open the Health app → your profile picture → Apps → MunchLog.
🗑️ Your Account & Data
Your log is stored in your MunchLog account so it syncs across devices. Uninstalling the app does not delete it. To delete your account and all of its data, see Delete your account.
